    Boppard Binger Tor

The Binger Gate in Boppard am Rhein is one of the last gates through which the Roman Legion passed. Here was the Roman settlement of Baudobriga, which has been partially excavated again. It is interesting to note that Celtic tombs have been found in front of the walls.

    Thermal baths in Bad Salzig

The first establishment dates back to 1907 and invites, thanks to a combination of new baroque and modern furniture, to feel good and relax. Take time for your well-being and relax in pleasantly warm water. The sauna area offers a steam sauna, a Finnish sauna, a diving pool and plenty of rest rooms where you can relax at your leisure.
To get to the spa, walk 800 metres up the Bad Salzig valley, following the path in the park on the left side of the K 118.

    Burg Rheinfels in St. Goar

The town of St. Goar, at the foot of the castle, owes its name to a monk from Aquitaine named St. Goar, who settled on the banks of the Rhine in the 6th century.
The fortress "Rheinfels" overlooks the city.
The Count of Katzenellenbogen had the castle built in 1245.
This fortress was transformed into a pompous renaissance castle and with its outbuildings into one of the most powerful fortresses in Germany. It was one of the only fortresses that resisted the attack of Louis XIV's troops in 1692/93.
