Partners and Members

All those who support the aims of the Charter may join the Partnership. This can include public and private organisations, large and small, including faith communities, private groups, clubs and associations, with cultural, sporting, spiritual or charitable goals; as well as public bodies  such as libraries and museums; also regions, towns, local authorities or protected natural  areas.

Joining the Partnership
Any private or public body may put forward their desire and intention to join this partnership; and will be accepted if they actively support and work towards the aims and purposes listed above. The purpose of the Partnership is to facilitate exchange, collaboration and friendship between all organisations.

The Key Partners
At the launch of the Partnership, the following national-level associations came to join and show their support:

  • Turas Columbanus, representing all groups and organisations in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Friends St Columbanus Bangor, coordinating activities in Northern Ireland,
  • Fédération Via Columbani, assembling all groups and associations in France
  • Kolumbansweg, based in Switzerland; also organising activities in Austria, Germany and Lichtenstein.

In Italy, there are many signatories of the Charter; and the Partnership is seeking an equivalent coordinating Partner.
