This castle was built in 1751 by the Chevalier de Béla, a former spy of King Louis XV in Sweden, to discover the secrets of artillery manufacturing quality. At the time of his installation at Colliers, he was then Chamberlain to Stanislas Leszczynski, King of Poland in exile at Chambord.
