10. from Melgven to Quimper
his stage follows the route of the historic Tro Breiz. We will pass through places that were once important stages of the Tro Breiz such as Locmaria Hent before arriving in Quimper. The arrival in the capital of Cornwall along the Odet is pleasant. The city was born further upstream, in Locmaria, seat of the earthenware factories which made its reputation.

Chapel of Coat an Poudou
This chapel of Coat an Poudou (Melgven), will ask you for a little detour.
"Coat an Poudou" means "Wood of the potteries" because of the shards of pottery that were found in the fields.
The chapel was built in granite between the 15th and 17th century. First dedicated to St Cado, it was later dedicated to Our Lady. On its placister is a calvary. The chapel was classified in 1949. - Cultural
Locmaria Hent
In this village there is a chapel built between the 15th and 16th century. It is classified as a historical monument.
Its location on the historic Tro Breiz means that it has a chimney that used to be used by pilgrims for heating. In front of the chapel, there is a Gothic ossuary. - Cultural
Lying Menhir Stang ar besk
Of all the megaliths you will see on the "Tro Breizh of Colomban" this one will be among the least impressive. Luckily it is indicated!
Description
From the Trinity Chapel, head towards the Moulin de Coat Forn and continue on the path. At the second crossroads (Croix de Quinquis), turn right and join the chapel of Coat an Poudou.
- At the chapel, take the track on the left and join the road. Turn to the right and continue on the track. Rejoin Kerambeuz and continue straight ahead up to the D70,
- Take the road slightly to the left, cross the railway and continue to Locmaria-Hent. After passing in front of the chapel, take the track on the right after the crossroads with the cross. Join the road at Créac'h Miquel and turn left towards Créac'h Névez. Continue straight ahead and go down the path towards the St. Lawrence River.
- Cross the river at the crossroads and go towards Ménez Braz. Continue up to the expressway and cross it. Continue straight ahead until the farm of Bois de Pleuven. Turn right until you reach the roundabout of the holiday village. Turn left and drive along the village until you reach the water tower.
- At the crossroads, turn left, then right towards Pentrec'h. At the crossroads, turn left and join the road to Quimper D783 and turn right.
- At the exit of the village and before the brook, turn right and join the place called "Le Mur". At the level of the dyke of the pond of the Wall, take on the left the track which goes up. Cross the road of the Mur Huella, then, at the next crossroads, turn right, then left before the buildings. At the crossroads, turn right and follow the road to the Quinquis and then Ergué Armel. Cross Ergué Armel, then, after the school, turn right and take the path that goes down along the ring road. Cross the large Eau Blanche roundabout and pass the railway tracks.
- Turn left on the path that runs along the river and join the cathedral.
