The Church of Entrains sur Nohain is placed under the name of Saint Sulpice, it is dated to the 13th - 16th - 18th centuries. Its choir dates from the 13th century, the nave and transept were built in 1595. The two chapels are dated from the 15th century, for Sainte Marie, and the 17th century for Saint Joseph. The bell tower tower porch is from 1766.

The Castle of Villiers Menestreau is dated from the 13th-19th centuries. It was rebuilt in the 15th century on land forming a stronghold with Nanvignes. This feudal castle, is located in a hilly area. The castle controlled the old Roman road leading to Entrains-sur-Nohain. Property of the Chabannes in 1496, then of Guillaume Tenon, treasurer of France and adviser to the king in 1506.

Notre Dame de Lourdes de la Tête Ronde in Menou was built in 1872, according to a promise made by the villagers. Indeed, the latter undertook to build a chapel if, during the War of 1870, the Prussians did not come to Menou. It seems that God heard their prayers... and that one of his ministers did not fail to remind the inhabitants of their promise.
A very beautiful panorama on the Nièvre river is offered to you as well as the village of Menou with its castle.

The Saint-Siméon church in Menou dates from the 12th century; the facade and bell tower were rebuilt in the 19th century.
Nanvignes, the ancient name of Menou, was a place of pilgrimage in the Middle Ages. The church housed the relics of Saint Simeon from the 10th century.
The church is closed, ask the Town Hall for the key near the church.

Surrounded by a French-style garden accessed through a magnificent gate with the coat of arms of the Menou-Damas, this castle consists of a central pavilion, topped by a bell tower, and two square pavilions, each adjoining a small building, one of which houses a chapel.
Described as "Versailles du Nivernais", it was built in 1672 by the architect Barthélémy Le Blanc, on the foundations of the former castle of Nanvignes, for François de Menou.

Your stopover starts near the bedside of the church in Entrains-sur-Nohain, cross the town hall square and turn right into rue du Chapeau rouge then rue de la Croix d'Or
- On leaving the city, turn left on D5, after the crossroads of the forest road turn right towards Menestreau, tarred road.
- Le Minerai, take the asphalt road slightly to the right, straight ahead until Menestreau.
- to Menestreau, turn left and immediately right on rue de l'église then Route du Minerai, straight on at the crossroads, route de Villiers, cross Villiers, at 10 route du Col du Loup take the right track, straight on until you reach the junction with the paved road.
- turn to the left and take the path that goes up to the Chapelle de Tête Ronde, go down again on the paved road, turn left, straight ahead towards Menou.
- The Monarderie, turn right, Chemin de la Monarderie, cross the D33 by taking the rue des Écoles slightly to your left, turn right on rue des Tuillières.
- Au calvaire take the asphalt road on the left, straight ahead until La Ferrière.
- to the Ferrière, turn right on the Chemin de Compostelle, direction Champlemy, at the crossroads at the entrance to Champlemy, turn left then right, rue des Carrières and rue de l'Église, arrival point.
