On leaving the church, follow Via Parravicini and then the first street on the left (Via Vitali) until the crossroads with Via al Bacco :
- Turn right on this street and then right again on Via Sacre Cuore and walk up it until you see an oratory (Madonnina) on the left. Take the dead-end road on the left (Vicolo Madonnina) which leads to the centre of the village Villatico. When you reach the church of San Berdino, turn left and then immediately right at the end of the building (Via Asilo), continuing until you reach the crossroads with a small street on the right (Via San Rocco) marked with red/white signs.
- Turn right and follow Via San Rocco to its end, where the track bends successively to the right and to the left to leave the village and go up into the fields (Via Legnoncino). The gravel path reaches a valley carved out by the Torrente Pertino (ford) and at this point joins the Sentiero del Viandante.
- In the hamlet of Posallo, in front of a wooden cross, follow the signs, taking the road that climbs to the left and leads to the hamlet of Sparese, then Perdonasco, before descending and remaining level until you reach the spur marked by the chapel of San Rocco overlooking Olgiasca, a peninsula on Lake Como.
- The path then descends towards Dervio, crossing four torrents, passing behind the village of Torchido.
- The path then reaches Corenno and then climbs back up to the SS36 motorway, which it runs alongside before reaching Dervio, which is reached via the Via al Monastero, a roundabout and the street opposite, Via Valvarrone, which gives access to the church of San Leonardo, near the Castello.
